ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

“It always seems impossible until it is done.”

who i am

Hi, I’m Monika, and I believe in the body’s incredible capacity to heal itself. My work as a massage therapist is a unique blend of academic grounding, diverse practical experience, and a profound personal journey.

I earned my Master’s degree in Physical Education in Poland, where I began my career as an athletic coach and instructor in tennis, swimming, and fitness, developing a personal passion for long-distance running. My path then led me to London, where I transitioned into massage therapy and personal coaching.

I moved to Chiang Mai in 2017. Spending five years in Thailand deepened my understanding of the body’s innate healing abilities. There, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, a 550-hour Yoga Therapist Diploma, and became certified in Therapeutic Nuad Bo-Rarn Thai Massage and breathwork. Additionally, I became an ultra-runner:)

I am a woman (50), a mum, a bodyworker, a yoga therapist, a physical education teacher, a runner and a lover of nature. I am from Poland. I worked as a physical/health education teacher, manager of education and an athletic coach for many years in Poland, England, Thailand and now in Norway.

London always will be in my heart. My new life chapter starts there. It was a tough time with a lot of difficult decisions. Almost 3 years in this amazing, crazy and expansive city taught me that everything happens for some reason!!!

My big, big love is  Thailand.  Culture, food, people, nature…  During 5 years of living in Chiang Mai, I became an Ultra-Runner, yoga teacher and Thai massage therapist. My students (I was a teacher) taught me life is now, it is this moment!!!

In 2022, I began a new chapter in Norway. I performed over 2500 massages at a clinic during my first year in Stavanger. During this intensive period, I discovered Myofascial Energetic Release (MER), a massage technique that profoundly transformed my approach to bodywork. I’m continually exploring the intricate connections between fascia, movement, and breath, and have also developed a keen interest in fascial therapy. The profound link between the body and mind continues to fascinate me, fueling an ongoing passion for learning and discovery.

This diverse background allows me to offer a truly holistic and empathetic approach to wellness, empowering you to unlock your body’s full potential and support its natural healing process.

From 2025, I warmly welcome you to my practice in Trondheim and Vanvikan.
